This was the first painting done in my Introduction to Painting class.  It is an excerpt from Jasper Johns Numbers.  Our instructor took a copy of the painting and cut it up into about 30 pieces, and each of us painted one piece.  We then put them together once they were completed.  This is piece #21 which can be found closer to the bottom right.
