This is the first portrait of our class.  We are working with discovering the planes of the face to differentiate the light and dark qualities.  This image was painted from a Yousef Karsh photographic portrait which can be viewed by clicking here.  The high contrast of his photos allow of easier inspection of the planes of the face.
