This painting is the final project for my Painting I class.  We were to emulate an artist and create an original in their style.  My painting is done in the style of Georgia O'Keeffe.  I took a close up photo of a rose and altered it using PhotoShop.  I did an under painting in a grey purple and glazed the colors on it.  Georgia's darker paintings were always full of color.
