This drawing was a representation of how I felt during my divorce.  I originally named it Freedom Flight for this overwhelming sense of freedom I felt knowing the divorce would be final soon.  These oyster mushrooms being tied to the ground were left behind when I (the butterfly) flew away.  I try to reflect on this butterfly analogy often to remember that we are only where we are in life because we choose to land there.
