I walked into the first day of class at the Woodmere Art Museum not knowing what to expect.  New people, new teachers, new subjects,.....  However much preparation I could have made, I would have never thought we would be painting a still life of yarn and scarves.  I almost walked out.  I didn't... and I'm really glad I didn't.  It was truly a challenge to paint the menagerie of multi colored objects set before me.  I started this painting with the intend of making it monochromatic, and then turned into dual colors.  Later I introduced a few other colors to help distinguish all the items present.
